Waimanalo Bay Wedding | Vanessa and Jared
It was such an incredible honor to capture Vanessa and Jared’s intimate Waimanalo Bay wedding.
When Vanessa first reached out about working together for her Waimanalo Bay wedding, I knew the experience would be nothing short of magic. There is something about intimate weddings that is so beautiful- your closest people spending the day supporting and celebrating you. Combined with the stunning backdrop of Hawaii? Perfection.
We began the day with Vanessa getting ready with her friends and family, followed by some of my favorite bridal portraits to date. Vanessa is a dream in front of the camera, the Backstreet Boys’ number one fan, and one of the sweetest brides I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She exudes happiness, and made us feel so immediately welcomed.
After portraits we captured a stunning first look and bridal portraits, surrounded by Oahu’s incredible lush forest. Following their time together in the greenery, we headed to their ceremony at Waimanalo Bay.
Waimanalo Bay was the perfect backdrop for their 15 person ceremony, complimented with a side of mist and wind. We wrapped up their bridal portraits before we lost the light, and then made our way to the city for their dinner together.
At each wedding I shoot I am so humbled to witness such incredible moments. This wedding was no exception.
