Your wedding day is the biggest day of your life- it’s a huge event! And just like other events, it’s critical that your hired team know exactly what they’re doing to help bring your vision to life, as well as make sure the day goes smoothly. We’ve worked with dozens and dozens of vendors, and there are only a few we trust more than anything to help our couples with their big day. Not only will these vendors help execute what you’ve envisioned for your wedding day- but we all work together make sure everything flows seamlessly. Though choosing our preffered vendors is not necessary, we do strongly suggest consulting us in choosing your videographer as we will work together directly when assisting you throughout the day!

WEDDING DAY TIMELINE
Your wedding day timeline will play a huge roll not only in the flow of your wedding day, but with the images you receive as well! We typically suggest having your ceremony around 2 hours prior to sunset- during the summer while the sun sets later, we typically suggest having it as late as you feel comfortable! If the sun is setting at 9 for example, we’d suggest having your ceremony at 4 at the earliest. Below you’ll find two sample schedules- one including a first look, the second without! Though the times are flexible, this will give you a great idea of the structure of each event and how much time will need to be allotted for photographs. Every wedding is different, so if you have unique ideas in mind don't worry! We're more than happy to help assist in structuring your timeline.

Following your ceremony we'll take family photos, and dependent on your schedule, full bridal party portraits as well. Here's our standard shot list during that time! Prior to your wedding, we'll send you a wedding information form that will also ask for any additional images you'd like. We'll go over scheduling for those shots as well if you have several requests.

If time permits during bridal party photos (prior to ceremony) we try to take individuals of the Bride with individual Bridesmaids, and Groom with individual Groomsmen. For extended family photos, we suggest including your Grandparents and any close Aunts/Uncles. Please keep in mind the more people included, the longer the photo will take to set up and can ultimately take time from other scheduled areas.

Let's end your wedding day in style.
Your wedding day will be perfect, and what better way to celebrate your nuptials with a romantic send off from your loved ones. Sparkler Exits are easily the most popular with current wedding trends- they are an incredible way to end the celebration. It's best to purchase sparklers that are 36" long. They'll create a bigger, brighter flame, as well as last long enough for you to take your time down the aisle and possibly go down twice! It isn't uncommon for most couples to do two rounds down their sparkler exit aisle- and in case something goes wrong, it's nice to have that extra burn time. SPARKLER EXITS NOT YOUR THING? That's okay! They're not for everyone. If you're unsure about walking through flames, or if your venue has fire restrictions we have some favorite alternate options. Confetti, Glitter, and Floral Petals are all gorgeous and incredibly fun to have for your exit!
When scheduling your exit in correspondence with your coverage, we do ask that 15 minutes of your coverage is reserved for the exit. If your exit is at 9, we will be scheduled until 9:15 as it typically takes 15 minutes to get everyone set up and you sent off!
IF WE HAVE BOOKED YOU FOR SIX HOURS, HOW WILL THAT AFFECT OUR WEDDING TIMELINE?
Documentary coverage of your wedding day (getting ready to exit) typically begins at 8 hours of coverage. If you've booked six, this usually will cover the ceremony, family photos, bride and groom portraits, and the reception.
WHEN SHOULD I HAVE YOU COME FOR GETTING READY PHOTOS?
Typically we'll arrive for getting ready photos when you're beginning your hair and makeup. When we first arrive, we'll photograph all your small details. Dress, Earrings, Invitation Suite, Shoes, etc. After which we'll begin photographing you getting ready, as well as the candid moments with those you choose to have in the getting ready room with you!
SHOULD WE HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER?
Though a second shooter isn't necessary, we strongly suggest having one! So many things are happening on your wedding day, it is so helpful to have another person there to capture all those individual moments! A second shooter is incredible helpful during getting ready photos and the ceremony as well- one photographer can photograph the bride, while the other photographs the groom. So many moments will happen as you walk down the aisle (the bride's face as she sees her groom, groom as he sees his bride, parents and guests reactions) etc. Each of these will happen simultaneously, and two shooters is essential for capturing them!
WE WILL BE HAVING UNIQUE, CULTURAL EVENTS AT OUR WEDDING THAT WILL INCREASE THE TIMELINE- HOW DOES THAT WORK?
We love capturing unique events at weddings! If you have cultural events that will prolong the length of your wedding, don't worry! Additional coverage can always be added at $300/hr, we cover up to 12 hours for one event.
WILL YOU BRING YOUR OWN LIGHTING?
Yes! Whether your wedding is taking place locally or out of state, we are prepared with out own lighting set ups for images after sunset.
CAN WE SEND YOU A SHOT LIST?
We love if you have inspiration! We'd love for you to send any images that you feel reflect the vibe of your session or wedding day. In regards to duplicating images, however, we do not copy other photographers work. We want to work with you to create our own vision together that will perfectly represent your unique wedding and relationship.
WHEN IS OUR BALANCE DUE?
Your balance is due 10 days prior to your event date, after which late fees begin to accrue at $100/day. Invoices are automatically sent out at the beginning of each month, however if you'd like to pay earlier than the month of your even just send us an email! We'd be happy to send you the final invoice earlier.
HOW MANY IMAGES SHOULD WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE ON OUR WEDDING DAY? WHEN AND HOW WILL WE RECEIVE THEM?
The amount of wedding photos you receive will be dependent on the events of your day, number of guests, etc. We guarantee 50+ images per hour we shoot- if you have a second shooter galleries typically end up being between 50-100 images per hour! Galleries are delivered via Online Gallery 6-8 weeks after your event. You can download web sized, high, and full resolution photos and share the gallery link with your family and friends!
DO WE HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
We strongly suggest printing through our services with a professional printer, although it is not necessary. Our pricing for prints is located within the pricing guide you received when you originally inquired! Your wedding package does come with a print release, so you are welcome to print on your own. We are happy to make suggestions of printing companies as well!
