THE IN PERSON FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Welcome to the in person flash photography workshop! Taking place in iconic NYC, you'll learn how to shoot on camera and off camera flash, with a plethora of techniques to absolutely STUN your ideal clients and explode your portfolio. After class is over, you'll have multiple hours in studio to practice your new skills while Eden helps you troubleshoot! Dinner included for Q+A time!

We work intentionally and ethically to source from local vendors, vintage pieces, and beyond so you leave with a beautiful and unique set of shots to add to your wedding portfolio.

"As "only" a part-time couples and families photographer who hasn't done too many weddings and has only dabbled in flash, I was SO nervous going into the Artificial Light Workshop. I had never attended an in person workshop and was pretty intimidated walking in with no idea what to expect. However, I'm so, so glad I double dog dared myself to forgo my reservations and attend. Everyone was such a joy to work and learn alongside and I was able to meet both local photographers and some from around the country. The other attendees were all kind, encouraging, and respectful of each other's space, vision, and time with each of the two couples we had the opportunity to shoot.
As a host, Eden was welcoming, supportive, and willing to repeat everything she just said for us as many times as we needed it. She had clearly put so much time into making sure that everyone who attended was able to squeeze the absolute most out of the workshop as possible and didn't even judge me when she momentarily thought I call tripods "sticks", lol. From the (estimated) millions of personally curated thrifted purses, shoes, and other trinkets to use for flatlays and mock table settings, to the carefully chosen model wardrobes, to the venue itself, I was blown away. It felt like Christmas morning. Eden very obviously poured her heart and soul into this workshop and I'm so grateful she did. I left the workshop literally buzzing and stayed up ungodly late at night looking through photos from the day.
And the learning and love didn't even stop there! Eden has followed up and encouraged us to ask any follow up questions even now, weeks later. Eden, thank you for being the sun at the center of such a beautiful, welcoming photo community that you've created. You're the best!!"

"I loved how relaxed and informative the artificial light workshop was!
The artificial light workshop was so useful to me. It’s one thing to learn about artificial light online, but it’s quite another to be able to practice hands on (and stake free) with real couples all while having a professional there to answer any questions. I’ve been a wedding photographer for years and have a decent amount of knowledge, but I still took away so much from this workshop. The vibes were also immaculate and it felt so warm and stress-free the entire time. I would 100% absolutely attend again! "

"I left the workshop feeling so much more confident with using artificial light! I'm so excited to edit the photos I took at the workshop and apply what I learned with my couples at their weddings and in-studio work. The group of people in the workshop were also so sweet and so helpful, which makes total sense because that's exactly what Eden represents and who she attracts. Additionally, as a queer person I felt comfortable being in the workshops' space and am so thankful for the opportunity to work alongside other queer folk and build my inclusive portfolio.
